PROFILE:
Matsue Plover Boys and Girls Choir ＆Plover Pure Blueberry

1986 :Matsue Plover Boys and Girls Choir was formed at the completion of the Plover Hall.

It has performed with Tolzer Knabenchor,Les Petits Chanteurs  la Croix de Bois,Wiener Mozart -Sangerknaben, Bambini di Praga ,Pro Musica Girls Choir,etc.
2001: Pure Blueberry started by choir members over Junior High School and was named after the late commander Mr.Aoto Sumio.
2005:Pop Candies, the Infant Choir was formed.
There are currently eighty members in the Choir.The repertoire goes from religious music to musicals.

The Choir has attended contests around Japan and performed in various events such as choir festivals.
The Choir has performed musicals full house with great success such as the original musical "Glass Shoes","Sound of Music" ,"My neighbor 　Totoro","Heidi, the 　girl of the Alps", the opera "Hansel and Gretel", the theater piece "Kan Kan Kakurenbo" and "Kyouwa kyou kyou".

Since 2003, the choir has attended lessons from Ms.Hasegawa Saeko .
Since 2005,the choir has attended lessons from Mr. Ito Keishi.

PRIZES:
2002:Teacher Award at All Japan Yokosuka Junior Choir Festival.
2004:Silver Award at The Third Miklos Kocsar Choir Concours.
2005:Encouragement Award of the Shimane Prefecture Cultural Prize.
2008:Gold Award of the Twenty Fourth Takarazuka International Chamber Choir Contest ,Folklore Category and Silver Award at Theater Piece Category.
Gold Award at JCA National Choral Competition in Chuhgoku Area, General Division.

2010:Silver Award at JCA National Choral Competition in Chuhgoku Area, General Division.
Gold Award many timies at Matsue Plover Chamber Choir Concours and the Grand Prize of the Concours in 2006, 2010 and 2011.
